Equality matters. Equality is about ensuring that every individual is treated with an equal amount of respect and has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents. It is also the belief that no one should have poorer life chances because of the way they were born, where they came from, what they believe, or whether they have a disability.
 
Despite how sensible the concept of equality is, discrimination of all types is present in every country around the world. Wearing our bandages proudly takes a stand against inequality and brings us one step closer to making it a thing of the past.
